Before I moved in as a resident of Compassion House, I was extremely depressed, fearful and suicidal. The leaders of Compassion House never gave up on me. I am happy to report that I now have full-time employment thanks to the skills I developed via vocational training. I have reconciled with my family for all the harm I have done to them. Now armed with their support I no longer feel helpless or alone.

Compassionate House Aftercare enabled me to update my vocational skills and improve my relationship with my girlfriend and family. I am forever grateful for the meaninful help I received and for the support that was given to me.

After my incarceration at Lancaster County Prison, I spent a year at Compassion House where I acquired certification from Thaddeus Stevens College. I am now off Parole and working full-time.
